De Evil
Speak of the devil for the devil shall come
In the name of the father, the son, his will be done
Let them come down, dark corners of the soul
To cry foul of their innocence
And corrupt those of well tempered hearts
Seal edgling’s fiend storm,
Born of the frayed edges of man’s existence
Dredged from the antichrist's underbelly
Corrupting the juror’s tongue to perjure omnipotent decadence
Let the firestorm’s sonnet
Scald the newborn babe;
Let their wretched forms
Steel pregnant mothers against
Love unconditional they might otherwise have given
Use your time wisely,
Lead the fledglings astray by your word and by deed
Waking hours of daymares in summertime
And sleep’s call to nightmares in wintertime
Feast upon the sweetness leeched of adolescent hearts
Innocence, drowned
Seek shelter amidst thorns of ignorance
Inbred, ingrained, incessed into the recesses of the weak minded fool
Bathing in the blood-dimmed tide
Suffer the wayfarer’s suffering by barring your door-
Bleed out loveborn,
Effervescent sweet loveborn
Tonight hell’s champion calls us to arms
He's already loosed the pups of Cerberus,
Breast fed upon the blood-soaked nectar of naught
As suckled from the teat of Persephone
Echo these screams, mandragora-esque newborns,
Slaughtering the wails of yesteryear
We are reborn today, tomorrow, in the blood bath of our future
Bury all hope, all optimism, all light
Permeating within this darkest of chasms,
Pulsing innards of man’s heart
Life is sacrifice, but henceforth
There will be no rewards
Now dark magic’s prefecture is the architecture of new lifeblood
For this archfiend type creature
You will slay Angel Gabriel upon the altar of God-king’s gold
Here's the all seeing mirror to remind you
What’s within is indeed all ugly and cold
Call the devil, and of course he will answer
Hearing no evil
Speaking no evil
Seeing no evil
For the evil is you
Speaking of the devil
Dancing with the devil
Feeding the devil in you
